Mermaid Sailing Experience
Prometheus Sailing is delighted to offer our new and exclusive Mermaid Sailing Experience for 2024, in partnership with the Isle of Wight Distillery and Mermaid Gin. Enjoy a day’s sailing on our Mermaid Gin sponsored yacht ‘Mermaid Spirit’ and receive a beautiful Mermaid Gin hamper, with a bottle of Mermaid Gin, premium tonics, ice and garnish and head out for some sailing on the Solent.
Once you’ve enjoyed a morning of sailing on the stunning Prometheus 41 yacht ‘Mermaid Spirit’ you will head into Cowes to moor up and then make your way to the funky waterfront restaurant ‘The Mermaid Garden’ at the Island Sailing Club. The Mermaid Garden combines the exclusivity of a yacht club with the feel of a trendy Mediterranean waterfront bistro and serves up a delicious menu of pizzas and burgers using locally sourced ingredients.
If you would rather enjoy a more formal lunch, then we can host you in one of the other restaurants at the Island Sailing Club for a delicious buffet or BBQ lunch.
After your lunch, rejoin your yacht, Mermaid Spirit, and enjoy an afternoon sail across the Solent back to Port Solent Marina and enjoy an après-sail Mermaid G&T.
You will be accompanied during the day by a Prometheus Sailing skipper and 1st mate, who will expertly guide your group throughout your sailing experience.
A Certified B Corporation, the Isle of Wight Distillery creates premium, hand-crafted spirits. The distillery’s signature spirit, Mermaid Gin is presented plastic-free, including a tamperproof seal made from corn and potato starch.

The cost of your choice of lunch is not included in the above package and is payable directly to your choice of restaurant.
