Taking place in 2026 from 1 - 7 August, Cowes Week is one of the UK's biggest and longest-running regattas in the world, offering seven days of high calibre competition. With all sailing abilities welcome and more than 40 races taking place daily throughout Cowes Week, it’s a great time to take your passion for sailing to another level.

2026 is the 200th Anniversary of Cowes Week and will be a truly special event, with the RAF Red Arrows display team, spectacular fireworks displays, live music and our own special events in our hospitality area.   

Prometheus Sailing is the official charter supplier for Cowes Week and the only charter company to have a dedicated racing class, pitting competitors against one another in a fleet of identical Prometheus 41 yachts. Victory belongs to the crew with the greatest skill and teamwork.

We offer an exclusive and dedicated hospitality area in the heart of Cowes for our Cowes Week clients, providing the perfect area to meet your crew mates and professional crew at the start of the day and for our daily après-sail drinks and prize giving.

After the success of 2025, we are delighted to announce that our 2026 VIP hospitality area for our daily après sail drinks and prize giving will, once again, be hosted at the exclusive, private members sailing club - the Island Sailing Club (ISC). The ISC is ideally situated in the heart of Cowes, in close proximity to Cowes Yacht Haven and the Red Jet ferry service in West Cowes. 

We are also delighted to announce that Prometheus Sailing has been appointed as the Official Charter Supplier for Cowes Week 2026.

Our inclusive packages 

Choose from bareboat or skippered packages for the week or just for the day. With our late morning race start times, crews will get the chance to practice in the morning before racing in the afternoon. Afterwards, congratulate the winners at our exclusive prize-giving area and get the post-race party started early. Put your skills to the test with Sunsail and enjoy the superb racing conditions of England's famous Solent.

**** Individual 'Rock up and Race' Package for Cowes Week 2026 ****

Prometheus Sailing is delighted to offer two new packages for individuals wishing to take part in Cowes Week 2026, offering a single day race package, a two day race package or even a three day .

Single Day 'Cowes Week 200 Rock up and Race' Package (Saturday 1st, Sunday 2nd August or Monday 3rd August) is priced at just £325 inc VAT per person per day. 

Two Day 'Cowes Week 200 Rock up and Race' Package is priced at just £595 inc VAT per person. 

Three Day 'Cowes Week 200 Rock up and Race Package' is priced at just £895 inc VAT per person.

  • Whole yacht daily skippered package

    Cost: Saturday 1st or Sunday 2nd August @ £2,250 + VAT per day

    Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th, Thursday 6th August or Friday 7th August@ £2,495 + VAT per day

    Mon - Fri £11,495 + VAT

    Charter Period: 09:00 - 17:00 approx

    What's Included:

    • Charter of a Prometheus 41 yacht 
    • Sunsail Skipper & 1st Mate.
    • Up to 8 guests per day onboard.
    • Daily packed lunch & soft drinks.
    • Foul weather gear for each crew member.
    • Race entry fee into the Prometheus 41 Class.
    • Mooring fees at Cowes Yacht Haven.
    • Entry to the exclusive Prometheus Sailing Prize Giving
      area including drinks tokens for your crew
      each day.

    Experience needed: None.

  • Whole yacht weekly bareboat package

    Cost: £11,495 + VAT per yacht

    Charter Period: 12:00 Friday 31st July - 17:00 Fri 7th August.
    Prometheus class racing starts Saturday 1st August and finishes Friday 7th August.

    What's Included:

    • Charter of a Prometheus 41 yacht for 7 days.
    • Up to 10 guests per day onboard.
    • Foul weather gear for each crew member.
    • Race entry fee into the Prometheus 41 Class.
    • Mooring fees at Cowes Yacht Haven.
    • Entry to the exclusive PrometheusPrize Giving
      area including drinks tokens for your crew
      each day.

    Experience needed: Skipper & 1st mate - over 1000 nautical miles racing in tidal water.

  • Whole yacht weekly skippered package

    Cost: £14,995 + VAT per yacht

    Charter Period: 19:00 Friday 31st - 17:00 Friday 7th August
    Prometheus 41 class racing starts Saturday 1st August and finishes Friday 7th August.

    What's Included:

    • Charter of a Match 41.0 yacht for 7 days.
    • Prometheus Skipper & 1st Mate.
    • Up to 8 guests per day onboard.
    • Daily packed lunch & soft drinks.
    • Foul weather gear for each crew member.
    • Race entry fee into the Prometheus 41 Class.
