Healthcare Services Regatta

Prometheus Sailing's Healthcare Services Regatta has been established for over 20 years and is a sailing and networking event for companies and individuals from the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, healthcare tech and medtech and medical devices sectors. 

Each April, over 100 industry professionals join us for a weekend of competitive sailing, networking and socialising in Portsmouth, Cowes and on the Solent.

Teams will gather on Friday evening in Port Solent to pick up their yacht and meet other crew members and teams. Then on Saturday teams will enjoy a day of sail training and racing before mooring and Cowes and enjoying a regatta dinner at the Island Sailing Club. 

Sunday sees teams enjoy a second day of racing, before returning to Port Solent for the regatta prize giving. 

Itinerary 

Friday 23rd April 

1900hrs   Yachts available for collection at Port Solent Marina. Free time for crews. 

Saturday 24th April 

0800hrs  Skippers briefing

0900hrs  Crews depart for a morning of training

1200hrs  Lunch onboard

1230hrs  Racing - an afternoon of racing, organised by our Healthcare Services Regatta Race Commmittee

1630hrs  Racing finishes and teams head to Cowes Yacht Haven 

1800hrs  Pre-Dinner Drinks at the Island Sailing Club

1900hrs  Healthcare Services dinner at the Island Sailing Club 

Sunday 25th April 

0800hrs  Skippers briefing

0900hrs  Crews depart for day 2 racing

1600hrs  Yachts return to Port Solent Marina 

1630hrs  Prize giving

1700hrs  Teams depart at leisure
