Magenta Project Ladies Only Sailing Courses

At Prometheus Sailing we are extremely passionate about creating opportunities for women to develop their sailing in a diverse and inclusive environment. 

Working in partnership with The Magenta Project, we have developed a pathway project that offers a range of RYA training courses, from RYA Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper, RYA Yachtmaster Coastal and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore. 

In addition to the pathway to RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, we will provide guidance and support for any woman who wishes to develop a career pathway in the world of sailing, including assistance in gaining a commercial endorsement for their RYA Yachtmaster qualification. 

Our course dates for Magenta Project ladies only courses are shown below. Please note that ONLY RYA Competent Crew Courses and RYA Day Skipper Practical Courses can be booked online from this page. Please contact our office to discuss your training requirements and book directly with our team for Coastal Skipper course and YachtMaster courses.

• 28th Feb - 2nd March (Start Yachting and Yacht Refresher course) 

• 6-11^th April (Competent Crew/Day Skipper)

• 27^th April -2^nd May (Competent Crew/Day Skipper)

• 30^th May -4^th June (Competent Crew/Coastal Skipper)

• 27^th June – 2^nd July (Competent Crew/Day Skipper)

• 12th - 19th October (Yachtmaster Coastal/Offshore prep and exam)
